Meet Our Team
Led by Vernon dentist Dr. Trent Sunderland, the team at Sunderland Dental is committed to helping you achieve a smile you’ll love by helping you understand your teeth and our treatments.
Dr. Trent Sunderland
Dr. Trent Sunderland was born and raised in Saskatoon, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2000.
Dr. Sunderland practiced in Regina for four years before making his permanent home in beautiful Vernon. He and his wife Malinda are busy parents of four beautiful children.
Dr. Sunderland enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves treating patients of all ages. He is enthusiastic about modern materials and techniques and has a keen interest in orthodontics and early childhood development.
Dr. Sunderland continues to study full mouth reconstruction and aesthetics implant restorations and smile design. In 2013, Dr. Sunderland opened his new state-of the-art dental clinic where his experienced dental team strives to provide the best comprehensive care for each patient.
I love building lasting relationships with our clients and being a part of such a great team that provides the dental care to help them achieve their healthy and beautiful smiles. A smile is always in style!
I am very lucky to be a part of this dental team who all work together to provide unmatched patient care. The best part of my day is greeting our clients with a warm and friendly smile.
I love coming to work each day. I get to talk to people every day and build relationships with them. Knowing I can make someone's dental experience easier and more comfortable for them is very rewarding. After all, your smile is the most beautiful thing you can wear!
I love belonging to a team that has in mind the best patient care possible. What I find most exciting is getting to know our patients, and witnessing the improvements dental care can have in their oral and overall health.
I like to give each patient the same care I would to my loved ones. It's really rewarding to feel as though you make a difference.
Dental fear is very real for most people. If I can help a patient through an appointment and have them say 'that was the best appointment I've had' then I know I've done my job well.
My purpose is to help people achieve a state of optimal dental and oral health personally appropriate for them. By continually striving to provide excellence in personal and professional service, I intend to accomplish this in a gentle and caring manner, in turn enhancing my patients lives. You don't have to take care of all your teeth, just the ones you want to keep!
Helping patients through their dental experience and minimizing their worries is most rewarding to me. I’m very fortunate to work with professionals that all share the same goal.
